Learning the Fun of Blogging For Beginners
Internet Marketing with Blogging for Beginners
Back on September 2007, I have no idea what’s a blog or web log is. I’ve heard about the term “Blog” but do not really know what it is. When I started my online business, I did not think of starting my own blog. The first blog that I set up was with Blogger.com and the whole purpose was to have a website so I can register as an affiliate with Amazon.com.
I did not post much content on that blog. Most of the content I’ve posted was my own articles and some PLR articles. I did not put much attention to it. Surprisingly, as of today, that blog has a PR2. It’s very strange indeed. My first blog was related to the SGR Home study course. Check it out.
I’ve seriously considered using a blog for my online business when I learn about the concept of building an authority site. Most authority sites pull in huge amount of traffic. That is my goal for my WA Plugin Blog site. I want to make it into an authority site focusing on the services offered by Wealthy Affiliate University.
No doubt it is going to be a hard and long up hill task. I am going to do my best to keep it fun, light and informative. It will also be a good way for me to keep a journal for my online endeavor.
If you are new to internet marketing and still doing your research, it is always a good idea to set up your blog. It might be fun to put your thoughts down and share it with the online community.

Wrath of Google on Duplicated Content
Can We Use Duplicated Content On Our Website?
The following information was sent to me from my first internet coach, Fabian Lim. It’s a set of slides prepared my John Mueller. A quick query on the name “John Mueller +Google” shows that he is a Google Webmaster Trends Analyst from Google Zurich.
When I was writing articles and submitting to article directories, most of the write ups are borderline duplicated content. There are a lot of information on the implication of duplicated content through the eyes of Google. There are many “do”s and “don’t”s. For me, the whole process was like walking through a mine field. I was always worried that Google might see my articles or site as duplicated content and send them to the depth of the Sandbox and never to been seen again…
After going through the slides, Muller kind of gives Google a human personality and character. Google is becoming more human and has a sense of compassion. Once in a while it will show its wrath by white washing useless and spammy sites.
I know it’s sound strange and freaky. Google’s robots are scanning our text right now. Very soon it will have the ability to interpret our intention and action even before we do something. Science fiction is becoming science fact. Spooky.
For now, the information shared by Mueller make sense. Watch the slides below and put your comment on it. By sure to sign up to our RSS feed for more updates on Google myths.
Free Targeted Traffic Source with Blogging
Why Do We Blog?
Ever since I started learning Internet Marketing, my major challenge is driving traffic to my affiliate links and sales pages. From the information they taught in Wealthy Affiliate University, there are many ways to drive traffic to your online business.
One of the most common traffic strategies is with Pay Per Click (PPC) online advertising. Personally, I am not so keen on PPC. The reason being? The cost! I cringe every time I look at my Google Adwords account. I can be spending US50 a day and not make any sales or collected any opt-in list at all. I may use more of PPC in the future, but not right now.
My favorite traffic building methods are the FREE approach. One of the key one is Article Marketing. I started making money from my online campaign when I applied the article marketing approach. At first I was a bit skeptical, and I was surprise when I saw my first sale on my Clickbank account. Article marketing surprisingly does work if you are willing to put in the effort.
Another form of traffic strategy is written marketing or Blogging. I am really keen to learn this publishing medium. I notice a lot of successful internet marketers maintain a blog and for them it has generated tidal waves of traffic to their businesses.
From my research, the search engines especially Google love blogs. I am going to do more blog posts and analyze the results. If you are keen to learn more about blogging, you can check out Jack Humphrey Blog Success review that I did. For other ways of making money online, read the Survey4Income review and learn how Helen Shilton can get you started on taking online survey.
I am not sure how a blog theme will affect the traffic results. I am using the WordPress blogging engine for this particular blog. Google Analytic has been installed on the header and now I start the tracking process.
